Chinese Society of Matrix Biology (CSMB), established in 18 March 2016, is an academic, non-profit organization affiliated to Chinese Association for Physiological Science (CAPS) and engaged in the dissemination of information relating to research on the extracellular matrix, cell-matrix interactions, and related areas in biology and medicine.The committee members consist of the matrix biologists and scientists majored in physiology, cell biology, pharmacology and clinical medicine from all over China.

Approved by CAPS, the 2 nd National Conference of CSMB will be held in Jishou, Hunan Province, P.R.China on 7–9 June 2017. The 2 nd National Conference aims to offer various perspectives on the role of matrix microenvironment in development, stem cell differentiation, transmembrane signal transduction, ECM biomechanical characteristics, and related human diseases. The organization committee welcomes all scientists in matrix biology to participate in the conference to present and communicate their exciting research works.

As the 2 nd Committee Meeting will be held during the conference as well, all committee members of CSMB are encouraged to attend this meeting.
