Macadamia is known as the “king of Nuts ”. In Australia there is a company specializing in processing and selling this macadamia. Now it has become the top company in this industry by developing a valuable mechanism of industrialization. This company is called Macadamia Processing Company(MPC).Today we will use the most concise language to let everyone understand the industrialization level of this company.
This is a company 100% owned by growers.
In order to guarantee the quality and food safety of its products, MPC has developed a set of technical processing system, for example:
A high precision drying system by using macadamia shell as renewable fuel source can reduce 99.6% carbon emissions.
Foreign objects are removed from kernels by using a range of machines and systems that includes screens, tilt conveyors, magnets, color sorter, metal detectors and hand sorting.
MPC continually tests its kernels like whole kernel percentage, moisture level and unqualified kernel ratio during the process.
MPC has successfully installed a $1.7 million pasteurization technology. It is also the first enterprise that installed this technology in the world.
MPC has obtained food safety certifications from independent third-party authorities.
MPC packs its kernels in laminated aluminum foil pouches that has been flushed by nitrogen and vacuum and seals it to ensure a low residual oxygen (less than 1.5%)
Kernels are packaged into cartons with an exact amount, and these cartons have two identifying barcodes with traceable information from farms to delivers. Meanwhile, products are stored in a warehouse that operates at approximately 12°C to extend shelf-life.
MPC has developed Industry leading kernel specifications known as “styles” to meet the exact needs of customers. There are 9 styles of their products.

MPC even set up a market company to manage sales globally—Macadamia Marketing International (MMI), The largest macadamia nut marketing company in the word, possessing multiple brands.
No matter the business is big or not, where the demand is, where nuts will be supplied.
MPC has promoted the market standardization including the openness, justice and fairness of the price. It not only offer a competitive notional price to growers, but also supply the“bonus” payment to them according to the market profitability. Additionally MPC continues to give strong dividends to its shareholders, and reports are posted on its official website annually.

In addition, MPC also values social responsibility. It advocates organic planting and processing. It also emphasizes low carbon. Beyond that, it provides management guidance to growers on pest management techniques, quality assurance, and post harvest-harvest.
What’s more, MPC ensures cash flows for growers and help protect the healthy multiplication of the macadamia by making a significant donation for the conservation of wild macadamias.
As a world-renowned macadamia processing company, MPC has mature and perfect system and successful experiences in industrial development.
