2018年11月09-11日，中国摇摆舞锦标赛（CLHC）将在摇摆盛典Swingtime Ball期间举行！本次赛事共有七个项目开放报名，快来和各地舞者们切磋技艺，享受比赛场上刺激又欢快的时光吧！ 9月3日-9月20日，CLHC报名通道开放。编舞、练习、买行头……现在就开始为你发光发热的瞬间做准备吧！
The China Lindy Hop Championships (CLHC)
will have 7 categories open for registration this year, ranging across
all levels. This is your chance to have fun with dancers from all over
the world and let your passion shine through!
Sign-ups are available from September 3rd
– 20th. Choreography, practice, outfit…It’s never too early to start
your preparations!

The Showcase division is where 2 competitors dance choreographed Lindy Hop together to the music of their own choosing. The music must be in the swing jazz genre. Dance partners can be of any gender as long as it’s only 2 dancers. Anything goes for the choreography, including dips and air steps.
There are 2 types of showcase competition in CLHC 2018: “Newcomer Showcase” & “Open Showcase”.
Solo jazz involves vintage solo dances from the American (and particularly African-American) jazz dance vernacular. Dancers compete in non-choreographed jazz roots dancing to music chosen by a DJ.
There is only one type of solo jazz competition in CLHC 2018, don’t miss it!
Requirements Sign up by yourself, open to all levels.
Format Prelim – All skate. The DJ will play 3 songs for dancers to do improvisational solo dancing, judges pick 5-7 dancers for the Final.
Final – Spotlight. Live
band music. The 1st song (slow) will be 120 BPM, each dancer appears for
2 rounds of 8 eight-counts. The second song (fast) is 190-220 BPM, each
dancer appears for 2 rounds of 8 eight-counts. Finish with an All
Skate.
Prelim 9:20pm Fri.
Final 10:25pm Sat.
Fee 80 RMB/person (10USD/person)
J and J* is one of the most popular categories of swing dance competitions. Competitors will be paired with a random dance partner for each turn and participate in improvised social dancewith random music.
The 2018 CLHC includes two types of Jack & Jill competition: “Open J & J” and “Advanced J & J”. We will not set specific requirements for the Advanced J & J level, dancers can decide for themselves whether the category is for them.
*To respect different genders, J &J is slowly fading from international compititions. We will still use this traditional name for this year, but we definitely welcome everyone to sign in for your chosen role(lead/follow)

Strictly is one of the most common forms of competition in the world of Lindy Hop. One couple enters the competition together and will not switch partners. Competition music will be chosen randomly.
There are two types of Strictly competitions for the 2018 CLHC: “Open Strictly” and “Advanced Strictly”. Dancers can decide for themselves whether the category is for them.
