We invite you to participate in the Mercer Global Investment Forum held in Beijing on April 12, 2019 as we will discuss and highlight the potential unrewarded risks present in the market and also look at how global economy and market participants’ behavior change over the decade.
The global market again experienced significant fluctuations in 2018. The tightening of Sino-US trade tensions, monetary policy tightening (leaded by the US), and the global slowdown signal from the investment market and the real economy have led to increased uncertainty, stock market adjustments and falling investor confidence. We expect the market to continue these changes in 2019 until the investment environment is normalized, during which interest rates may rise, inflation rises and further volatility. In this environment, our clients can return to the basics of investment and benefit from the most fundamental asset allocation, risk management, operational efficiency and sustainable development.
