With tremendous support from Education Bureau of Xi'an, Office of Foreign Affairs Committee of Xi'an Municipal Committee of CPC and leading enterprises in vocational education and manufacturing and relevant industries, Education+ International Summit and Exhibition for vocational Education and Training in China continues to act as a networking hub for experts and decision-makers within the global vocational and education industry. The event offers a chance to see edge-cutting technology developments in equipment, solutions and systems for vocational education, The strong link between conference and exhibition guarantees the high quality of the show. This unique combination fosters the effective and easy exchange between industry and education, for which Education+ is well known in China. Accompanying programs like Teachers Training Workshop created additional learning and business opportunities.
The 4th edition was successfully held from November 7-9 in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Education+ Summit contributed a total of 148 conference papers presented by around 2, 131 conference attendees. The Summit was supported by the international sector leading players from academia and business, like f.e. by the BIBB -German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training, several state ministries for Education from Germany, Le service de cooperation et d'action culturelle(France), Didacta Association of the German Education Industry, UNESCO, Beijing Normal University, ShaanXi polytechnic Institute, Zhejiang University of Technology, Jiangsu University of Technology, south China Normal University and 26 German Universities.The three-day exhibition welcomed a total of 162 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions who showcased their latest equipmen and solutions across 12, 000 sqm of exhibition space. 7,086 professional visitors learned about the world-wide latest equipment, training systems, ICT devices, presentation technology, infrastructure & software for vocational education systems. During Exhibition+ the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi)as well as the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) are supporting the German pavilion as a group participation giving German companies the possibility to showcase the art equipment and solutions"made in Germany"for all levels of vocational education and training. Didacta-the Association of the German Education industry and the initiating association for the German joint stand is accompanying the German delegation, and providing professional advive.
