This event aims to bring the Chinese and German business communities together to exchange the latest information and strengthen the economic dialogues between Germany and China. 



On the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the People’s Republic of China, AHK Greater China will organize this hybrid Sino-German Economic Dialogue on December 15, 2022 to give an outlook on opportunities and challenges on doing business in China in the future.


本次活动旨在将中德工商界和专家聚集在一起，交流最新信息，加强和促进德中经济对话。


值此德意志联邦共和国与中华人民共和国建交50周年之际，德国海外商会联盟大中华区将于2022年12月15日举办线上线下融合形式的《中德经济对话》活动。

Since joining XPeng in 2018, Dr. Gu has successfully led many landmark capital raising activities for the company, totaling over $6.5 billion. These have included Xpeng’s listing debut on the New York Stock Exchange in 2020, raising $1.7 billion in one of 2020’s most successful US IPOs for a Chinese company, and the subsequent $2.5 billion follow-on issuance, the largest ever first-time follow-on ADS offering by a Chinese.

    As part of the organizational realignment of the Continental Powertrain division, Grégoire Cuny assumed the position of President of Vitesco Technologies China, effective June 1, 2018. In this new role, he oversees all business activities of the company in China. Mr. Cuny has more than 20 years experience in the automotive industry. Since July 2014, Mr. Cuny already took the leadership as the Vice President of Business Unit Transmission Segment Asia of Continental, located in Shanghai, China. In the years 2010 to 2014, Mr. Cuny was heading the business developmen and sales for Asia of Business Unit Transmission in Shanghai. He was as well responsible for Business Unit Transmission in Japan in the same period of time. Prior to this role, Mr. Cuny worked at various functions at Siemens VDO Automotive and Continental including Engineering, Central Functions as well as Project Management within Division Powertrain of Engine Systems and Transmission in France and South Korea to get international business experience. Grégoire Cuny started his career as a Software Engineer in 2000 and holds an Engineering and Master’s Degree of Computer science and Electronics from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, France.

    Dr. Gang Yang heads the entire business of the TRUMPF Group in China, including TRUMPF (China) Co. Ltd. in Taicang and Jiangsu Jinfangyuan CNC Machine Co., Ltd. (JFY) in Yangzhou. In total, the TRUMPF Group currently employs more than 1,700 people in China. Gang serves as an officer of the company and he’s based in Taicang, the APAC Hub of TRUMPF Group. Gang also serves as vice chairman of Taicang Roundtable (TRT), a professional industry organization for German and European invested enterprises in Taicang Hi-Tech Zone. Additionally, he is an Advisory Board Member of China Netzwerk Baden-Württemberg e.V (CNBW). Gang has been with TRUMPF since January 2015, formerly as Global Sales Director in the Machine Tool Business Division at the company's headquarters in Ditzingen, Germany. He was appointed Managing Director of TRUMPF (China) in 2018. Prior to TRUMPF, Gang served in several management roles, including Ernst & Young, McKinsey and Bielomatik Leuze Group. Gang also served as Professor of DHL Chair for Global Supply Chain Management at Sino-German College for postgraduate Studies (CDHK) in Shanghai Tongji University. Gang holds a doctorate degree in economics and master’s degree in engineering from Technical University Berlin (TU Berlin).
