In this keynote, the spotlight is on SCANOSS's transformational journey from a company with a deep-rooted foundation in open source software to becoming a beacon of open data in the community. SCANOSS leveraged its extensive knowledge base of open source software, initially offering free access to a subset concerning license compliance through the Software Transparency Foundation. This move facilitated legal and technical professionals worldwide in managing open source software licenses. Advancing its mission, SCANOSS later introduced the purl2cpe dataset as open data, catering to the increasing needs around security vulnerabilities. The presentation further covers their recent release of a cryptography algorithm definitions dataset, aimed at addressing pressing industry challenges such as export control, product security, and quantum readiness.

Ana works as a Senior Project Manager at the Linux Foundation, where she supports two projects: the TODO Group and the PyTorch Foundation. At the TODO Group, she helps sustain and evolve open source management practices and OSPO education through community-driven resources. At the PyTorch Foundation, she is helping to design programs aimed at driving adoption of the PyTorch ecosystem in academia and research. Her work spans a global open source community across four continents with over 3,000 practitioners. Additionally, she played a key role in bootstrapping the Developer Relations Foundation (DRF) and provides open source project management advice support to the DRF Steering Committee. Ana is also involved in open source management and DevEx / DevRel research. Prior to joining the Linux Foundation, she worked at Bitergia, a Software Development Analytics firm, and completed her MSc in Data Science, with a final thesis focused on measuring the success of DevRel in open source development communities. She is passionate about Open Source, InnerSource, and developer community health metrics. Ana has contributed to several open source projects, including CHAOSS, InnerSource Commons, OpenChain, TODO Group, OpenSSF, and CNCF.
