世界经济的发展，在不同程度上给各个国家带来了能源制约问题，发展需求与能源制约的矛盾唤醒和强化了人们的能源危机意识。随着全球经济的快速发展，能源短缺已成为制约各国经济发展的主要因素。由于现阶段还是能源利用效率低，能耗高，造成能源严重浪费现象十分严重，能源的紧缺形势又给我国的资源不足和环境治理造成巨大压力。
随着全球市场竞争加剧和气候变化压力的增强，企业面临着越来越严峻的挑战，如何提升能源利用效率，如何建立完善的能源管理制度，以及如何提升企业的竞争力和影响力已成为企业亟待解决的问题。另外，在当前经济下滑，企业利润增长降低的形势下，如何通过“节约能源消耗成本”来“创造利润”，也是企业一种新的增长方式。
ISO50001能源管理体系是由ISO国际标准化组织的ISO/PC242能源管理委员会进行制定，于2011年6月15日全球范围颁布(ISO50001:2011)，并于 2018 年颁布新版能源管理体系(ISO50001:2018)。企业如何通过系统的管理，有效地降低能源消耗，提高能源利用效率成为最高管理者的一项战略性决策。本培训旨于面向企业中高级技术和管理人员，理论实践并重地指导如何合理提升能效，从而降低相关的政策和市场风险，与运营成本。
