Ms. Siyuan Chen has been Vice President, General Manager of Bristol Myers Squibb for China & Asia Cluster, President of China since January 2023, to take on responsibilities to oversee Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Southeast Asia markets. Siyuan is a true leader, full of passion for people and patients. Since joining Bristol Myers Squibb as the President & General Manger for China in December 2019, Siyuan has demonstrated strong leadership which was pivotal in strengthening the local talents and organization in China. In 2020, Siyuan has led Bristol Myers Squibb China team to successfully formulate and launch the “China 2030 Strategy” and achieved a series of impressive milestones. As a leader committed to shaping the industry environment in China, Siyuan is currently the Vice Chairman of the 6th Council of the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI), a member of the 2022-2023 Executive Committee of CAEFI’s R&D-based Pharmaceutical Association Committee (RDPAC), and the Vice Chairman of the China Association of Pharmaceutical Commerce (CAPC). Prior to Bristol Myers Squibb, Siyuan held several senior management roles at GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis. She also worked for the Boston Consulting Group as a consultant. Siyuan received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Fudan University, an MBA degree from the Columbia Business School, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts.
