About Us

The human microbiota, comprising the microorganisms residing within and on our bodies, exerts a significant influence on human health and disease. While their association with numerous diseases has been well-established, our understanding of how the microbiome influences human health and the development of diseases remains largely unknown. As an emerging field, it is currently in a crucial phase that demands urgent development and in-depth exploration. Over the past decade, an increasing number of scientists have joined this field, contributing a wealth of important and novel research on the mechanisms, functions, and applications of the human microbiome. These studies lay the foundation for understanding the molecular mechanisms of microbial interactions with the host, revealing their roles in disease development, and exploring potential therapeutic or dietary interventions. This conference provides an opportunity for in-depth communication among international and domestic scientists in this field, collectively advancing the research and development of the human microbiome.
