    Dong Liang, Co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of SIYOMICRO, also serves as a Shenzhen consulting expert for the major special project in synthetic biology technology, and recognized as a leading entrepreneurial talent in Jiangsu Province. This led to the development of an ultra-stable SOD capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 100℃, revealing significant applications of deep-sea extremophilic microbial resources combined with synthetic biology. Dong Liang also conducted scientific expeditions in outdoor locations such as hot springs in Costa Rica and Quzhuomu Township in Tibet, where he collected extremophilic strains. Adhering to the principle of serving society through scientific research, Dong Liang established SIYOMICRO in 2015. Within a 200m² laboratory, SIYOMICRO successfully achieved industrial-scale production of SOD in just 2 years, and sold the products to hundreds of high-quality cosmetics and food clients. Moreover, SIYOMICRO provided customized development of raw materials for these clients. This approach transformed clients into strategic partners, allowing SIYOMICRO to continuously explore the applications of synthetic biology in various fields such as food, cosmetics, agriculture, environmental protection, and materials.

During his time at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), he participated in several research projects of general programs for scientific and technological R&D, including the 863 Program and the 973 Program, and led or contributed to the authorship of eight invention patents. Dong Liang was involved in the project of the Key Technologies R&D Program of 863 Program managed and directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology – “Advancement of Research and Application of Heat-Resistant SOD Enzyme”. Dong Liang also conducted scientific expeditions in outdoor locations such as hot springs in Costa Rica and Quzhuomu Township in Tibet, where he collected extremophilic strains. Adhering to the principle of serving society through scientific research, Dong Liang established SIYOMICRO in 2015. Within a 200m² laboratory, SIYOMICRO successfully achieved industrial-scale production of SOD in just 2 years, and sold the products to hundreds of high-quality cosmetics and food clients.
