Ms. Hu Ruohan is the CEO & Co Founder YoujiVest Technology, and currently serves as the director of the Carbon Neutrality Laboratory at Tsinghua-HKUST Research Institute. She is an expert in the field of financial technology. YoujiVest specializes in ESG data and environmental analysis for Chinese enterprises, utilizing sustainable development methodologies tailored to the Chinese market and integrating advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and machine learning. The team comprises members with extensive experience in quantitative investment and environmental research. Since 2012, they have been designing green finance and ESG products for esteemed clients such as BlackRock, Nomura, State Street, and Allianz. Ms. Hu also holds the position of director at the Carbon Neutrality Laboratory within Tsinghua-HKUST Research Institute. In this role, she leads a team in collaboration with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance. Together, they have developed China's pioneering environmental risk model, aiding financial institutions and corporations in forecasting the impact of extreme environmental disasters on their assets. Before co-founding YoujiVest, Ms. Hu was involved in the construction of ESG products for overseas asset management since 2012. Her previous roles include Product Business Director at the London Stock Exchange Group, Asia-Pacific Head of Lipper (a global fund rating company), and Greater China Director and Senior Consultant at FactSet (a U.S. technology company). She has also garnered substantial experience in multi-asset portfolio analysis and fund strategy at cross-regional asset management firms.
