Elaine Chen was appointed Vice President, DHL Corporate Office Beijing in June 2022. Elaine is responsible for political communication and representation of DHL’s interests representing Corporate Public Affairs in the region.
Prior to her current role, Elaine worked in Honeywell China for 15 years, as Corporate Government Relations Senior Director of Asia Pacific and Key Account General Manager, Honeywell Building Technology. Elaine participated broadly in field of Aerospace, petrochemical, digital technology, etc.
Before Honeywell, Elaine worked in Intel Co. Ltd. Shanghai as Public Affairs leader.
Elaine is now the National Chairman of Logistic Working Group, European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. She was the chairman of Shanghai American Chamber Government Affairs Committee for two years from 2017-2018, and Jinan Mayor’s International Economic Consultation Commission member.
Elaine obtained her bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Jilin University China, and master’s degree in Science from National University of Singapore.
Mr. Frank Schulze, male. Diploma in Business Administration, Railway Operations Expert, graduated from Academy for Management and Economy in Berlin. 16 years railway operations working experience, 3 years working experience in MAGLEV train Operation, Commissioning and Projects, 17 years management experience in International Rail Freight Transportation. Mr. Frank Schulze has joined DB Cargo Group in 1984, served as Train Operation Manager/Operation Controller, Railway and Transrapid Operation Expert for MAGLEV in Shanghai and Germany, Commercial Manager for Rail Transportation in Southeast Europe (DB Cargo), Head of Rail Services in Austria (DB Cargo), Head of Commercial Management for Rail Transportation (DB Cargo) for Northern Europe (Belgium, UK, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway). Many years of experience in Management, Sales and Purchasing in International Rail Transportation.
Mr. Frank Schulze was between 2018 and 2021 the General Manager of DB Cargo Liaison Office China, and since 2021 General Manager of DB Cargo Transasia Co., Ltd. And since 2019 Director of the Board of China United International Rail Containers Co, Ltd.
As a sinologist, historian and political scientist, Mr. Lars Anke has dealt with the different regional activities of German institutions and companies during his studies in China. After completing his studies he has been with the German Asia Pacific Business Association as Regional Manager responsible for Greater China and Mongolia. From September 2006 until April 2019 he served as the Chief Representative of the Hamburg Liaison Office China, the official representation of the Federal State of Hamburg, and was in charge of projects and affairs in the area of politics, economy, culture, education, tourism, port and marketing. For the Port of Hamburg he is, in addition to China, also responsible for the Japanese and Korean markets. Mr. Lars Anke served as Commissioner General of Hamburg’s participation in the Shanghai World Expo 2010. In September 2017 Mr. Anke was honored with the Shanghai Magnolia Sliver Award. Since April 2019 he is as Head of Sales Projects at Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG responsible for international projects and strategy of the group. Since September 2020 he also serves as Chief Representative Asia-Pacific of the company, based in Shanghai.

In 2003, I graduated in Nanjing University of Science and Technology, majored in communication engineering(telecommunication direction). I started my career in an electronics manufacturing and service company in Suzhou Industrial Park. I worked in quality department for 2.5 years. In 2006, I joined Bosch Suzhou as a quality engineer then promoted in quality department as a manager. I got familiar with our products, processes and Bosch culture during this time. I got transferred to HSE department in 2013. Since then, I have been working on EHS topics and gradually got involved in ESG and sustainability topics in recent years.
Frank has 15 years of experience in EHS and Sustainability including operations and project management, as well as sustainability management within FMCG/SEMI/pharmaceutical industry of multi-national corporations.

Mr. Ike Xu is the technical manager of TÜV Rheinland with over 12 years’ professional experiences in environmental consulting and audit industry, focusing on ESG reporting and rating upgrade consultancy, carbon audits, corporate carbon strategies development, recycled materials verification, waste management, water governance, EHS audits and consultancy and supply chain environmental management. Before entering TÜV Rheinland, he spent five years working in world’s leading third-party company as environmental product line manager, mainly serving for fortune 500 companies and MNCs. Mr. Xu holds a master degree in environmental management of Illinois Institute of Technology and a bachelor degree in ecology of Sun Yat-sen University.
