The Board of Directors of the German Chamber of Commerce in China - Shanghai invites all members to Annual General Meeting to present the Board Report and the Treasurer’s Report, elect the Board of Directors 2024 - 2026 and vote for an Amendment of the Statutes.

How do I Cast my Vote?
Make your vote count! We are calling every Corporate and Individual Member of the German Chamber of Commerce China - Shanghai to cast their vote. As a Voting Member, you can cast your vote online or on site in the Meeting on March 28, 2024:
- Online Voting: The Online Polls will be open from March 3, 2024, 00:00 CST until March 24, 2024, 24:00 CST
The online polls will open on March 3, 2024, allowing you to vote virtually and without any geographic restrictions. All Voting Members will receive their individual online voting access code via email. For inquiries, please contact the Chamber team at chamber-east@china.ahk.de.
- On-site Voting: in the Meeting on March 28, 2024
Important Notice:
Only Corporate and Individual Members who have paid all past and current membership fees for 2024 are eligible to cast their votes. Every Voting Member has one vote. Please note that for this reason, we will send the online voting invitation only to the permanent representative.
In case your company has not yet named a Voting Member, please do so at your earliest convenience and communicate his/her name to Ms. Daisy ZHU, Chief Membership Engagement Officer, zhu.jingjing@china.ahk.de, no later than 6 p.m., March 23, 2024. Motions to be Presented
- Election for the Board of Directors 2024-2026 of the German Chamber of Commerce in China - Shanghai
- Election of the Auditor China Regal CPAs LLP 中瑞诚会计师事务所（特殊普通合伙）
- Formal Approval of the Board's Reports and of the Actions of the Board 2022-2024
- Amendment of the Statutes covering the following items: change name of the Germany Chamber of Commerce China, change frequency of General Meetings to once per year, change the term of office of the Members of the Board of Directors to 3 years staring from 2026, change the term of office of the Auditor to 3 years starting from 2026. For details please see the Amendment to the Statutes attached on the election website, which reflects all amendments in markup.
All members are invited to submit their comments on the agenda, the drafts for motions until Tuesday, February 29, 2024, 6:00 p.m., to the Executive Director Mr. Maximilian Butek (butek.maximilian@china.ahk.de)
During the meeting we will also showcase the Chamber's activities and review the financials from the past two years, and we would be happy to answer your questions! We would like to show our gratitude for your support throughout this period, without which our activities would not have been successful.
Afterwards, we will present you with the results of our Vote, welcoming the new Board of Directors 2024-2026!
