In 2024, foreign-owned enterprises face various factors constraining their profitability, including global political and economic uncertainty, China's dynamic regulatory policies and laws, increasing digitization and automation, data security and privacy protection. As the core role in enterprise financial management, financial managers must remain sensitive and adaptable while devising risk management and response strategies to guarantee compliance and financial stability. They also need to formulate and implement these strategies to deal with changing market conditions and management as well as stakeholder requirements.
本次Virtual Exchange中，我们诚邀各位外企财务管理者，共同探索如何在不确定的经济环境和政策背景下以进促稳，破局而生。
In this Virtual Exchange, we invite finance managers of foreign-owned enterprises to share your insights on how to promote stability during uncertain economic and policy environments as well as break through obstacles.
About the Virtual Exchange:
The German Chamber Virtual Exchange is our monthly event where members can freely connect and exchange insights on topics related to business in East China. This virtual event aims to provide a platform for sharing experiences, ideas, and best practices. Each month, we will explore a different theme or topic relevant to business in East China, with opportunities for networking and knowledge-sharing among our members in either English or Chinese. Let's come together to share our perspectives and build stronger connections within the German business community in East China!

Chris Zhang studied economics at Ruhr-University Bochuminn Germany and graduatied in 2007. Before that, he was graduated in Economics & Management at Tongji University in China.
