III. The Theme of the Forum

Nowadays, knowledge creation and technological innovation are accelerating globally. A wide range of scientific and technological fields have witnessed explosive growth and mutually reinforced each other in the course of convergence, which continually fosters subversive innovation and technological breakthroughs that emerge in groups. As a product of the paradigmatic shift in technology innovation, the future industry, drawing upon key technological breakthroughs and their own advancement in industrialization, is creating novel application scenarios of technologies and leading a revolution in consumption, contributing profoundly to the overall social and economic development.

The forum, themed “Future Industry and Innovation Ecology: The Voice of Global Think Tanks”, aims to build a high-level international platform for exchanging ideas and information on topics such as the development trend of the future industry and strategies for developing an innovation ecology, so that the think tanks can contribute their wisdom to the technological advancement that underpins the development of a community with a shared future of mankind.
