China German Chamber of Commerce (“Platform Operator”) assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or completeness of the information, products, or services provided by members. Member companies must ensure the legality, authenticity, validity, and compliance of their uploaded content and commit not to infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, personal information, or any other rights and prior interests. All responsibilities arising from this shall be borne by the member companies and are unrelated to China German Chamber of Commerce.
2. Industry Classification
To enhance information accessibility, during the trial operation period (from May 2025 to December 2025), member companies will be categorized into three industry sectors (Business Services, Industrial Equipment & Related Services, and Automotive & Related Services). The classification is based on information provided autonomously by the member companies. Member companies should adhere to the principle of truthfulness and provide the Platform Operator with information regarding their respective industry sectors. The Platform Operator makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy or applicability of the classification, and all responsibilities arising from this shall be borne by the member companies and are unrelated to China German Chamber of Commerce.

The platform may contain links to other websites provided by member companies. For any updates or revisions to relevant information, please contact [ chamber-east@china.ahk.de]. These links are for the convenience of users seeking more information and do not imply Platform Operator’s endorsement of those websites or their content. The Platform Operator assumes no responsibility for the content of linked websites. Member companies are responsible for the links they provide and for the content contained therein, including but not limited to text, images, links, photos, audio, video, and animations. They are also responsible for the relevance, legality, authenticity, validity, and compliance of the content and commit not to infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, personal information, or any other rights and prior interests. All responsibilities arising from this shall be borne by the member companies and are unrelated to China German Chamber of Commerce.
4. Information Usage
The Platform Operator reserves the right to use all activity photos, videos, and content uploaded by member companies. By posting any content on the platform, member companies are deemed to consent to the Platform Operator's use, storage, and display of relevant content.
5. Deletion and Restrictions
The Platform Operator has the authority to delete or restrict any information provided by member companies that involves the following content, and may even suspend the member company's account:
(1) Content of a pornographic, violent, terrorist, or uncivilized nature;
(2) Content with reactionary material.
(3) Content containing personal attacks;
(4) Content violating ethics and morals;
(5) Content of a malicious or frivolous nature;
(6) Other content that infringes upon the legitimate rights of others or violates laws and regulations.

6. Trial Operation Period
During the trial operation period, the platform offers basic functions to member companies free of charge. After the trial period ends, the Platform Operator reserves the right to adjust service content and pricing standards.
7. Data Protection
Member companies promises that the personal data provided to China German Chamber of Commerce complies with the requirements of current relevant laws and regulations or has obtained the consent of relevant individuals to allow China German Chamber of Commerce to use it. Otherwise, all responsibilities arising therefrom shall be borne by the member companies.
Either party shall take sufficient technical means and measures to protect the security of personal data obtained from the other party and use it only within the scope authorized by the other party. At the same time, in case of leakage, damage or loss of relevant personal data, either party shall take remedial measures immediately. At the same time, either party shall timely notify the other party and notify the corresponding individuals and relevant competent departments in accordance with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations.
China German Chamber of Commerce will protect and use the personal data obtained from member companies in accordance with the requirements of current relevant laws and regulations, as well as the Privacy Policy published at https://china.ahk.de/en/legal/privacy-policy and the Data Retention Policy as published at https://china.ahk.de/en/legal/data-retention-policy. Member companies agree to provide personal data to China German Chamber of Commerce for the purposes of performing this disclaimer and are aware of their rights and obligations.
The establishment, validity, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this disclaimer shall be governed by the laws of Mainland China of the People's Republic of China.
If any disputes or controversies arise between the member companies and the Platform Operator due to this disclaimer, they shall first seek to resolve the issues through friendly negotiation. If no settlement is reached within thirty (30) days from the date one party notifies the other party in writing of its intention to submit the dispute to arbitration, then such dispute shall be submitted to Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (“SHIAC”) for arbitration which shall be conducted in accordance with its arbitration rules in effect at the time of applying for arbitration. The arbitration seat shall be Shanghai. The arbitration language is English. The arbitral award is final and binding upon both parties. The costs arising from arbitration shall be borne by the losing party, including but not limited to arbitration fee, witness expenses, lawyer fee, travel expenses, etc. During the arbitration, this disclaimer shall be executed continually by both parties except for matters in disputes.
10. Final Interpretation Rights
Within the bounds of the law, the Platform Operator holds the final interpretation right of this disclaimer and reserves the right to modify or update it at any time.
