Dr Yimo Luo is currently a professor at the College of Civil Engineering, Hunan University, served as member of the Solar Energy Utilization Professional Committee of Chinese Engineering Construction Standardization Association, director of Hunan Provincial Society of Building Environment & Energy Application, director of Hunan Provincial Refrigeration Society, and member of Hunan Provincial Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning Society. She has presided more than 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, innovative projects of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, sub tasks of the National Key R&D Program, Hong Kong Research Grants Council Projects and so on. She has published more than 60 academic papers and more than 10 authorized patents, drafted and participated in 1 national standard, 1 group industry standard, and served as the young editorial board members of journals such as Energy Storage Science and Technology, Building Science, and Journal of Hunan University. Her research focuses on energy storage materials, heat and mass transfer in advanced heating/cooling systems, and their intelligent control for sustainable buildings. She has developed innovative low-carbon building technologies, including thermal energy storage systems, building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), and smart windows for energy efficiency. As an active contributor to the IEA EBC international cooperation project, she maintains extensive global collaborations with leading experts in the field. Currently, she is particularly interested in advancing adsorption thermal energy storage systems for buildings using a multiscale approach.

Cancan Zhang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing University of Technology, served as the Deputy Secretary General of the Energy Storage Engineering Special Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, the Deputy Director of the Molten Salt Energy Storage Special Committee of the China Inorganic Salt Industry Association, a member of the Energy Storage Application Branch of the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association. He has presided over more than 10 sub projects of the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education's Industry University Cooperation Collaborative Education Project, the Major Science and Technology Special Project of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the Key R&D Program of Hebei Province. He has published more than 60 academic papers, including 45 SCI papers, more than 10 authorized patents, drafted and participated in 2 national standards and 3 group industry standards. He served as young editorial board members of the Journal of Thermal Science, Energy Storage and Saving (ENSS) Carbon Neutrality, Corrosion Communication, Editorial board members of journals such as Journal of Engineering Thermophysics, Energy Storage Science and Technology, China Journal of Corrosion and Protection, China Special Equipment Safety, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, etc.. He won the second prize of Henan Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of the Advanced Energy Storage Technology Innovation Competition of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Baosteel Education Award, exemplary individual for employment and entrepreneurship of Beijing University of Technology, outstanding head teacher of Beijing University of Technology, and outstanding young editorial board member of the Journal of Thermal Science.12.jpg
