tmCT PVG – China’s First Fast Channel for Time-Critical Airfreight
In Smart Manufacturing, the value of logistics lies not in shipments delivered but in downtime prevented. When spare parts arrive late, production lines may stop, causing millions in losses. Yet at Shanghai Pudong Airport — the world’s third-largest airfreight hub — urgent cargo had long been processed like ordinary freight.
To address this, time:matters and PACTL co-developed tmCT PVG (time:matters Courier Terminal at Shanghai Pudong Airport), launched in June 2024 as China’s first dedicated courier terminal. By combining German expertise in emergency logistics with Chinese operational excellence, it establishes a fast channel that sets a new standard in urgent airfreight handling.
Shipments are digitally pre-alerted, routed through fast lanes, and physically monitored on the apron. Handling times are reduced from 4–6 hours to just 2–2.5 hours. With full transparency and rapid problem-solving, alternative solutions are activated immediately when issues arise — protecting just-in-time supply chains and ensuring Smart Manufacturing never stops.

DEKRA supported PotisEdge in bringing its power conversion system, PotisPCS-125K, to the European market. The product is designed for complex application scenarios, reduces reliance on complex cooling systems, and offers ultra-fast grid response. DEKRA enabled an integrated multi-country certification process by making use of its laboratory network and local expertise across Europe, and avoided repeated testing. This helped PotisEdge complete EMC (IEC 61000-6-1/2/3/4) and Safety (IEC 62477) certifications, while meeting grid connection requirements in 12 countries, including Germany, France, Finland, Sweden, Greece, Portugal and so on. The entire project was completed within just three months, significantly faster than the industry average, accelerating product launch, while DEKRA’s century-long reputation in Europe further strengthened customer confidence in PotisEdge.

This collaboration leverages Envision's leading digital energy ecosystem to accelerate Merck's global decarbonization journey. Envision has supplied over 80% of the green electricity for Merck’s Shanghai production site. In addition, Merck has implemented Envision’s Ark Digital Carbon Management System at its Zhangjiagang production site and life science lab to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. The collaboration extends beyond our walls: Leveraging Envision’s expertise and training, Merck is empowering its suppliers to jointly develop a decarbonization roadmap, implement energy-saving solutions, and promote green power procurement. The bentonite-based oil removal reagent Foryl® ORS represents a groundbreaking advancement in pre-treatment chemistry, offering an eco-friendly, highly efficient, and cost-effective solution for emulsifying and removing these oil mixtures.
Foryl® ORS acts as a magnet and sponge, adsorbing and trapping oil droplets and particulate soil from the fiber/fabric surface, therefore leading to an exceptional cleaning efficiency and superior oil removal rates. With a natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable material being introduced in the formula, Foryl® ORS reduces reliance on synthetic surfactants and phosphates, reducing the need for harsh chemicals. It decreases the chemical oxygen demand (COD) in wastewater. This not only lessens the demand for high-temperature and high-pressure wastewater treatments but results in a lower environmental footprint in textile industry.
After use, Foryl® ORS breaks down naturally. From nature, back to nature. This obviously closes an ecological loop in circular economy.
