Past Events
Preliminary Round: 3 songs of different tempos will be played randomly. All dancers improvise together.
Semifinal: Dancers who advance will compete in a Jam Circle. No set order—dancers enter freely, but only one pair can dance at a time. Each group dances to 2 randomly chosen songs.
Final: Live band performance. Each group dances two rounds. Tempo and style will be decided on the spot.

Name Format:
• Use English names only.
• For Chinese names, use pinyin in the order “surname + given name”, e.g., “Zeng Weiming”.
• For English names, use “given name + surname”, e.g., “Misha Wu”.
• Avoid using nicknames, especially if they’re hard to pronounce. If necessary, still follow the formats above.

Past Events
Entry: Solo registration, no dance experience required.
Prelims: Dancers are grouped (8–10 per group), each group dances to 2 randomly selected swing songs. Each dancer freestyles for 1.5–2 minutes per song.
Semis: Jam circle format. No set order—dancers take turns freely, one at a time. Two songs per group, music selected by the DJ.
Finals: Each finalist picks a live musician and song on the spot, and performs a 1.5–2 minute solo.

Entry: Reserved for top-level dancers with proven results in major competitions.
Prelims: Groups of 8–10 dancers. Each group dances to 2 randomly selected songs (1.5–2 minutes each). Music may include Swing, Bebop, Blues, or Latin styles.
Finals: Each dancer picks a song from a pre-selected playlist and is randomly paired with another dancer. The pair shares the stage and dances improv to both songs.
