Balluff Chengdu Factory Insight Tour and “China for China from Legal and Tax Perspective” Seminar
成都工厂是巴鲁夫全球三大生产基地之一，另外两个分别位于匈牙利的Veszprém和墨西哥的Aguascalientes。成都工厂每年生产370多万件电感式和机械式传感器，以及用于工业自动化的线性位置测量系统和其他产品。在生产和物流网络中，成都是亚太地区的区域供应商和电感式传感器的主导工厂。目前共建设了三期工厂，雇员340人，为全球20%的巴鲁夫产品提供支持。
The plant in Chengdu is one of Balluff's three large series production sites, along with the two plants in Veszprém (Hungary) and Aguascalientes (Mexico). Balluff Chengdu manufactures more than 3.7 million inductive and mechanical sensors per year in western China, as well as linear position measuring systems for industrial automation and other products. In the production and logistics network, Chengdu acts as the regional supplier for the APAC region and lead factory for inductive sensors. Currently it has built three phases of factories in Chengdu, employs 340 employees and delivers 20% of Balluff products around the globe.

Mr. Erik Oortwijn has been CEO of the Balluff Sensors Chengdu manufacturing plant since 2008.
After obtaining his master’s degree in mechanical engineering, he started his professional career in Philips Electronics more than 37 years ago. He spent the early years of his career in the Philips Center for Metal Technology and Innovation and then became Design & Engineering manager in a Philips Metal Components Factory for Television Tube applications. In 1998 he moved to Philips in Belgium as General Manager of the Philips Metals factory in Lommel. With a small team of Philips production managers he participated in a management buy-out that included a Metal components factory in Nanjing China. This was the reason for moving with the whole family to China and start a successful turnaround of that factory in 2006.
When the Balluff Company offered the opportunity to continue the stay in China it was an easy decision to use the accumulated knowledge and experience to help build the Balluff Chengdu plant into what it is today.
Erik Oortwijn自2008年起担任巴鲁夫传感器成都工厂的首席执行官。

Ralph Koppitz has been working as a lawyer in China for more than 28 years. He advises German and other international companies on their business activities in China. His main areas of expertise are corporate law, M&A, contract law and employment law. He also supports foreign NGOs operating in China. After studying law at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and passing his second state law examination, Ralph Koppitz studied Mandarin Chinese at Beijing Normal University. He initially worked as an associate at an international law firm in Beijing. He then headed the Shanghai office of another international law firm for 18 years. He has been a partner at Rödl & Partner since 2023.

Joschka Barde has 10 years of experience at Rödl & Partner in China and currently heads the Taicang office. He advises German and international clients on corporate tax compliance, cross-border tax and accounting reporting, statutory filings, and HGB/local GAAP alignment. He assists clients in meeting China’s regulatory requirements and ensuring full compliance in all tax and accounting matters.
Joschka Barde 拥有在Rödl & Partner中国工作10年的经验，目前担任太仓办公室负责人。他为德国及国际客户提供企业税务合规、跨境税务及会计报告、法定申报以及HGB/本地会计准则对接等方面的专业建议。他协助客户满足中国监管要求，确保在所有税务及会计事务中实现全面合规。
Balluff Sensors (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., a wholly owned foreign enterprise by Balluff Holding GmbH from Germany, stands as the sole production base of Balluff in APAC region and serves as a world-class manufacturing center for the Asian market. The local company' s history goes back to 1996 and was registered in Xindu District in June 2004. The construction of its own first phase factory building in the eastern industrial area, Xindu, Chengdu, came into operation in November 2007. Phase two expansion was completed in 2017. After this, the company invested 50 million RMB in the construction of the third phase of the factory premises, which was completed in June 2023, adding approximately 6,500 square meters of new factory space.
Currently the company employs 340 employees and delivers 20% of Balluff products around the globe. The phase three investment enables the company to continue expansion of its production portfolio for the Asian market. Many years of accumulated experience in the company and strong team efforts of the talented team are the basis for the great results of this factory in today' s dynamic business environment.
