The German Chamber of Commerce in China – North China warmly invites you to our New Year’s Reception 2026, an evening dedicated to strategic insights, community exchange, and a strong start to the year.
This year’s reception holds particular significance as it marks Dr. Helena Melnikov’s first visit to China in her role as Chief Executive Officer, German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK). Her participation comes at a moment when German–Chinese business relations are navigating important shifts — from changing trade dynamics to evolving regulatory conditions and new expectations on both sides.
In addition to her keynote address, the program will feature a high-level panel discussion with leaders from business and organizations, exploring the opportunities and challenges shaping German–Chinese economic relations in 2026.
Following the panel, we will honor long-standing members of the Chamber at the Long-term Membership Recognition Ceremony, where we will recognize member companies who have been part of AHK Peking for over 25 years.
Together, the keynote and panel provide an important platform to exchange perspectives, gain fresh insights, and strengthen networks across the German business community as we begin the new year.
