Knorr-Bremse Daxing Factory is a key part of Knorr-Bremse's rail manufacturing footprint in China. Established in 2006 as a joint venture, it focuses on core rail products for the domestic market, including brake discs, brake compact calipers and locomotive pads for high-speed trains, regional commuter trains and locomotives. 

As a joint venture between Knorr-Bremse and its Chinese partner, the site reflects the company's long-standing commitment to local cooperation and shared development in China. It is also widely regarded as a positive example of pragmatic and successful Sino-German industrial collaboration. 

Looking ahead, Knorr-Bremse is also actively discussing further modernization and upgrade of its Beijing facilities, while exploring with Chinese partners the possibility of introducing and localizing advanced rail freight technologies in Beijing, which would further strengthen the strategic role of the site.
