Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way companies communicate, build brands, and engage with stakeholders. At the same time, new technologies are reshaping how information is discovered, consumed, and trusted. As Generative AI becomes an increasingly important gateway to information, companies must rethink how they build visibility, earn trust, and protect their corporate reputation.
The Marketing & Communications Forum: AI, GEO & Reputation, jointly organized by the German Chamber of Commerce in China - North China and the German Centre Beijing, brings together marketing, communications, public affairs, and corporate affairs professionals to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping brand visibility, corporate communications, and reputation management.
The forum will provide practical insights into how organizations can adapt their marketing and communications strategies in an AI-driven environment, strengthen brand visibility through Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), effectively integrate AI into corporate communications, and manage reputation and communication risks in a rapidly evolving landscape.

XU Erci is a tenure-track Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Senior Consultant at Alibaba Group. His work focuses on cloud computing and AI infrastructure. He has contributed to major initiatives including Double 11, WAIC, and Alibaba’s data center operations across Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, and key European cities.

Eleanor Olcott is the FT's China Tech Correspondent based in Beijing. In this role, she covers China's fast-evolving tech sector, including artificial intelligence, internet companies, startups, regulation and the intersection of technology with geopolitics and the economy. Eleanor joined the FT in 2021, after working as a China policy analyst at the financial research firm TS Lombard. She graduated from the University of Cambridge and later completed the Schwarzman Scholars programme at Tsinghua University in Beijing.

Henrik Bork has worked in Beijing for more than 30 years as an investigative journalist and corporate advisor. He is the founder and managing director of Asia Waypoint, a boutique consultancy specializing in strategic communications and market intelligence for multinational companies, international organizations, and European SMEs operating in China.
Previously, he served for more than a decade as Beijing Bureau Chief and Asia Correspondent for Germany's Süddeutsche Zeitung.
