GREENEXT Expo is an international platform dedicated to sustainable development, ESG practices, and green innovation, fostering international exchange and collaboration. It connects business leaders, policymakers, investors, universities and research institutions, innovators, and consumers across industries to explore practical pathways towards sustainable development and build a collaborative ecosystem for impactful partnerships.

This year’s Expo features five thematic zones — “Net Zero Engine”, “Circular Economy”, “Nature Positive”, “Conscious Living”, and “Business for Good” — showcasing innovative technologies, real-world applications and emerging trends in sustainability.

Building on the success of the first two editions of GREENEXT Expo, the inaugural Shanghai International ESG Week will take place from 29 October to 4 November 2026 across the West Nanjing Road–Suhewan Central Activity Zone (CAZ) in Jing’an District. The event will be guided by the Development and Reform Commission of Jing’an District, hosted by the West Nanjing Road–Suhewan Central Activity Zone (CAZ), and organized by Xin Nan Xi Group and GREENEXT.

Led by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Shanghai International ESG Week will serve as a city-level ESG platform encompassing the Global Leaders Summit, Flagship Professional Exhibition—GREENEXT Expo, Business for Good Awards, Industry Co-Creation Events and Public Engagement Experiences. It aims to:

• Bring together key resources and advance project partnerships and real-world implementation;

• Translate sustainability principles into business practices, industrial innovation and public action;

• Support Shanghai’s green and low-carbon transition while contributing to its development as an international consumption, and foster a robust ESG ecosystem for enterprises.
