    Dr.Ren Derek
    CEO, Viva Biotech Shanghai

    Dr. Ren joined Viva Biotech (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in 2009, mainly responsible for the overall management of the company CRO business. Prior to joining Viva Biotech, Dr. Ren has worked over ten years in Warner-Lambert Pharmaceuticals and Pfizer Global Research and Development served as a principle scientist and project leader since 1998, focusing on new drug discovery diabetes, obesity and inflammatory diseases. Dr. Ren received his Ph.D. in Animal Science at Michigan State University, and conducted Post-doctor research in Biochemistry at MSU. He has published about 20 research papers in international scientific journals.

    Dr. Bing Xia

    Ph.D., Boston University, with the widely recognized photochemist, Prof. Guilford Jones, collaborated with Prof. John Porco. Worked with GlaxoSmithKline (Boston, USA) and was selected as GSK Associate Fellow, with 15+ years of experience in DNA Encoded Library (DEL) R&D Led a variety of projects across wide range of therapeutic areas such as oncology, CNS, immunology, and infectious diseases/HIV. Won 3 Exceptional Science Awards, 2 Cool Chemistry Finalists, 5 Silver awards and 10 Bronze Awards. Finalist for the GSK $5K Electroceutical Ideation Challenge/$1million InnoCentive (reviewed by Draper Lab). Organizing committee, GSK 2019 Global Chemistry Conference (April 2019, London, UK). Organizing committee, the 8th International Symposium on DNA-Encoded Chemical Libraries (Oct. 2018, Chengdu, China) Published 20+ articles, book chapters, and patents in various fields in esteemed journals, such as Nature Comm., JACS, J. Med. Chem. As a special reviewer, reviewed >100 submissions for 19 high impact journals

    Yue obtained her Bachelor's degree from Fudan University and continued her research at Yale University. Yue joined the Jorgensen lab where she worked on methodology development of the free energy perturbation calculation. After graduation, Yue worked as a computational chemist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and were actively involved in multiple novel drug discovery projects. Yue is now leading the computational chemistry group at Viva and is responsible to various drug discovery projects and methodology development endeavor.
