Finding Your Voice: Authentic Leadership in a Complex World

Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University

Monday, September 12 at 7:30 pm

CFLD Hall, B1 level

What does it mean to lead authentically—and how do we develop a leadership voice that is genuinely our own? Drawing on experiences across the arts, public service, academia, and cultural diplomacy, Carla Canales will explore how identity, values, listening, and self-awareness shape the way we lead. The conversation will consider the difference between authority and authenticity, the importance of understanding one’s own voice, and how leaders can remain grounded in who they are while adapting to different cultures, institutions, and environments.
