The global AI industry is entering an advanced phase of large-scale deployment, with exponentially rising computing power demand. Nevertheless, the ecosystem of computing chips remains highly fragmented. Among hundreds of chip vendors, programming models, operator implementations and communication protocols are mutually incompatible, resulting in exorbitant adaptation costs for cross-chip deployment of large models. Meanwhile, AI Agents, embodied intelligence, scientific models, world models and other technologies are driving a new wave of technological leaps, posing unprecedented challenges to cross-architecture unification and open ecosystems of computing power. Open computing power has become a core bottleneck restricting industrial advancement.
As an open-source system software platform built for AI computing, FlagOS strives to shield underlying hardware disparities and realize the vision of "write once, run on multiple chips", enabling open, fluid and accessible computing power. Its community has brought together chip manufacturers, cloud service providers, universities and independent developers, fostering an open ecosystem spanning "chip – system – framework – application".
The 2026 Artificial Intelligence Open Computing Conference & FlagOS Technical Conference adopts the theme of "Unified Stack, Boundless Intelligent Computing". It will convene global developers and industrial partners to advance collaborative standard development, shared research outcomes and prosperous ecosystem co-construction.
Top experts from industry, academia and research will assemble to deliver keynote speeches
