The global business environment is changing rapidly, creating new opportunities and challenges for companies and executives operating across borders. Drawing on first-hand experience from international legal and tax advisory practice, this session offers a behind-the-scenes perspective on developments affecting business between China and Europe – highlighting practical challenges, emerging trends and issues that executives should keep on their radar.

Event Highlights:

  1. Corporate perspective: China Business Insights – What Is Changing and What Comes Next?

Drawing on first-hand experience in building, managing and successfully selling a business in China, as well as advising on cross-border transactions and corporate governance, we will share practical insights into changing investment patterns, corporate succession and M&A, private equity, banking challenges and evolving tax compliance requirements – including real-world examples and perspectives from both China and Germany.

  2. Individual executive perspective: Key compliance considerations for CRS and overseas financial accounts.

This session centres on cross-border personal tax risks facing executives. Though not a new subject, it remains one that requires ongoing vigilance.

  3. Interactive Roundtable: Your Real Challenges, Targeted Solutions

Following the two expert deep dives, we open the floor for an engaging peer exchange. Far from a standard training, this is your dedicated face-to-face dialogue space. Bring your live business and compliance questions – we explore your unique scenarios together to shape actionable next steps.
