Drug development worldwide is marked by increasingly complex molecular structures and physicochemical profiles, faster development cycles, and closer collaboration across regions. With challenges spanning drug candidate developability, process manufacturability, global regulatory submissions, and commercial supply, establishing a phase-appropriate CMC strategy early has become critical to reducing development risk, improving the likelihood of development success, and enhancing pipeline value.
On November 5–6, 2026, PharmaBlock will host the CMC Lifecycle Strategy Forum in Nanjing under the theme “Take the Smarter Path.” Bringing together industry experts with global experience in drug development and commercialization, the forum will focus on CMC development for small molecules, peptides, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Discussions will address early CMC integration, critical technical decisions, and collaboration across the drug development lifecycle. Drawing on PharmaBlock’s practical experience in green and intelligent chemistry, the forum will explore drug development approaches that balance development efficiency, process manufacturability, and sustainability.
