VDA QMC has released a new standard on Product Compliance System in Nov. 2023. This new standard will be mandatory for entire supply chain in 2024. Products need to fulfill all legal requirements (of each market) the product is sold, of all standards (e.g.: ISO, GB, UNECE, VDA,...) and customer requirements and specifications. SAMR has released new legal requirement for product compliance (safety of products) order No. 75&76 in Q2/2023.

In 2023, China becomes world champion on exported vehicles. Many new international and legal requirements of foreign markets need to be assured, in addition, many new legal requirements for the digital challenges in the automotive industry are launched (ICV, SDV, NEV, AD, OTA, CS, Data Security, ... ).

Product Compliance System are becoming essential for each car manufacturer and their supply chain. Digital Safety and compliance are most important. Top management and PSCR need to assure Product Safety and compliance/conformity.

The Product Integrity Day (PI-Day) is focus on Compliance & Safety. It is a platform to discuss and exchange experiences on management level and for all PSCRs. PSCR are requested in concept phase, development phase, production phase and for after-market (customer care).
