About Us

Join SMART Symposia and stay with the forefront of bio-med research.


The SMART Symposia is an international academic conference co-organized by the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation (SMART) and the Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL). The symposia, which are held in the most pleasant seasons in Shenzhen, provide a platform to foster cross-disciplinary collaborations and communication among biomedical researchers around the world.


In the past February and May of 2023, we have successfully held two“trial” symposia with featured themes. The first focused on Innovative Research, and the second highlighted Bio-Architecture & Bio-Interactions. These events attracted nearly 3,000 participants both online and in person.


Looking forward, the SMART Symposium will offer more exciting opportunities for global academic exchanges. We sincerely welcome our friends from the bio-med community to join us in our science journey ahead.
