Ruiguang Electric Power Plant is located in south of Dongshagou Village, Wujinshan town. The plant has two 300 MWe heat supply units, which serves as the major heat resource for Taiyuan and Jinzhong. The heating area exceeds 16 million square meters thanks to the high back-pressure condensing heat utilization technology. Ruiguang Electric Power Plant is an advanced green power plant, which has developed high-standard De-NOx (Denitration), hydrometallurgical desulfurizing technique (wet desulfurizing technique), electrical-bag filter, wastewater treatment, full closure coal yard and other facilities. Besides, the reclaimed water of the city is used. It is quite successful in achieving the transformation of coal-fired power plants with ultra-low emissions, waste heat ladder utilization (waste heat step utilization), solid-waste multipurpose utilization (comprehensive utilization of solid-waste/ solid waste comprehensive utilization), and carbon dioxide capture.

Highlights:

1. The first coal-fired power plant in Shanxi Province achieving the dust removal electrical price. 

2. The first domestic power plant using the reclaimed water of the city.

3. Multipurpose utilization of solid-waste and zero waste water drainage.

4. The first domestic power plant adopting physisorption method to capture carbon dioxide from the smoke and building an annual output of 3,000 tons of food-grade CO2 project.

5. The first 300 MW units realized ultra-low-emission in the middle-western China.

6. Granted as “the national demonstration power plant for energy saving and emission reduction” by National Energy Administration in 2016.

    瑞光电厂位于晋中市榆次区乌金山镇东沙沟村南，运营两台30万千瓦供热机组，是太原、晋中两市集中供热主要热源点之一，供热面积达2400万平方米。高标准建设了烟气脱硝、湿法脱硫、电袋除尘、废水处理、全封闭煤场等设施，生产用水全部采用城市中水，是一家“超前”的绿色电厂。该企业在燃煤机组超低排放改造、余热梯次利用、固废综合利用、二氧化碳捕集等方面取得了积极成效。

亮点：

1.     山西省第一家享受除尘电价的燃煤电厂。

2.     全国首家生产用水全部采用城市中水的电厂。

3.     固废综合利用，电厂废水零排放。

4.     国内首个采用变温变压物理吸附法从烟气中捕集二氧化碳工艺，建设年产量3000吨食品级二氧化碳综合利用项目。

5.     中西部地区首台完成超低排放改造的30万千瓦火电机组。

6.     2016年被国家能源局授予“国家煤电节能减排示范电站”称号。
