Mr Wei CAI is currently a partner with FountainVest Partners, a private equity firm focusing on investment opportunities in Greater China region. The fund currently manages assets over US$4.6 billion. Before joining FountainVest Partners in 2015, Wei was an investment banker for over 20 years in US and Asia. He was Vice Chairman of Asia Investment Banking and Co-head of China Investment Banking with UBS from 2010 to 2015, leading one of the top investment banking franchises in China. Before that, he was a Managing Director and Head of Asia General Industrials Group with Morgan Stanley. Wei received his LLB degree from Fudan University in Shanghai, and his joint MBA/MA from Booth School of Business and Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
