As President of FedEx China, Poh-Yian Koh oversees the operations of FedEx in this vital market.
As a key strategic decision-maker for the company, Poh-Yian Koh is dedicated not only to driving the company’s business growth and market expansion in China but also to maintaining close collaborations with government entities, clients, and partners. Her leadership is pivotal in advancing FedEx’s strategic goals in China, ensuring sustained success and fostering long-term development and a positive corporate image in this crucial market.
Ms. Koh started her career at FedEx in Singapore. In 1994, she moved to China and led the company’s efforts to explore the market, shape customs procedures, and support many of the FedEx strategic projects (i.e., Pudong and Guangzhou Hub), network, and service expansion in the country. During her 35 years with FedEx, she has developed an impressive breadth of experience from her directorship roles in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing. Her contributions to laying the foundation for FedEx's continued growth in China and Asia Pacific have been recognized with several awards, including two-time IT Hall of Fame Awards and the most prestigious 5-star Award at FedEx, of which she has been awarded nine times.
Ms. Koh is passionate about advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and empowering women not only at FedEx, but also in the Chinese business community. She headed the disability pillar, called the Sunflower Project, which aims to create an inclusive and positive environment to enable individuals with disabilities to thrive for excellence with their skills and abilities.
Additionally, she is responsible for leading the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions in the development of sustainability strategies to meet FedEx's carbon neutral goal by 2040.
She holds an Industrial Engineering Bachelor's Degree from Ohio State University and an Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northern University, in conjunction with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Ms. Jessica Y. WANG, aged 50, was appointed as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company in January 2022. Ms. Wang was the Managing Director – Project Development & Asset Management of Shui On Management Limited. Ms. Wang is responsible for leading the management team to oversee the Company’s daily operations, formulating business strategic plans based on the business strategies and goals set by the Board, implementing the strategies and policies adopted by the Board, and striving to maintain the Company’s business performance. Ms. Wang joined the Group in August 1997 and has over 30 years of working experience in the property development industry in the PRC. Prior to joining the Group, Ms. Wang worked in sales and marketing at a real estate company in Shanghai.
Ms. Wang holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Shanghai University of Technology and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the Fudan University in Shanghai. Ginger Cheng is Chief Executive Officer of DBS Bank (China) Limited and a member of the DBS Group Management Committee. Ginger has spearheaded execution of the group’s China strategy since taking the helm in 2022, driving significant growth for the franchise in this key market.
A veteran banker with over 30 years of experience in Hong Kong and Shanghai, Ginger has deep expertise in corporate finance, syndicated loans, and investment banking, as well as extensive knowledge of cross-border financial services. Before becoming CEO, she served as Deputy CEO of DBS Bank China, fostering expansion of the Institutional Banking Group (IBG) in support of Chinese companies’ outbound investment into ASEAN countries. Renee Wang is the Executive Vice President, President ZF China and Operations Asia-Pacific at ZF Friedrichshafen AG. Renee joined the TRW Automotive in 2008 with the responsibilities for the overall finance management of the Asia Pacific. In early 2014, she was assigned the additional role as the Operation Director for ASEAN, Japan and Korea, in charge of the general management of the business in these areas. Ms. Chole Lam has over 20 years of profound managerial experience in our Group and a comprehensive understanding of the perfume, skincare, cosmetics industry. She was the Brand Alliance vice chairperson of the 27th China Beauty Expo in 2023, the vice chairperson and endorsement officer of Online China Beauty Expo in 2022, special strategic supporting enterprise representative of Chinese Cosmetics Retail Expo in 2021.
Tammy has over 27 years' experience in the China real estate market, working in both developers, occupiers and brokerage sides. She has worked in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang, Chengdu and Xi'an. Her expertise includes site selection, acquisition, disposition and portfolio strategy for occupiers, as well as development consulting, portfolio strategy, investment, project lease and sales for developers and investors.
