The ISC Committee invites you to submit a full-length paper or an extended abstract for ISC 2027, to take place on May 7th-9th.

*Manuscripts submitted must be original works (including extended abstracts) that have not been published previously and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

*Any form of academic misconduct, including but not limited to plagiarism, copyright infringement, disclosure of confidential information, simultaneous/multiple submissions, and redundant or duplicate publication, is strictly prohibited.

• Prospective authors are requested to submit

· A full paper (no less than 5000 words or 10 pages)  

· An extended abstract (1500 to 2000 words including key references)

• The elements of the submission can be organized in the following order listed

· Title

· Author(s) and Affiliation

· Introduction

· Main Body Text (including a concise review of extent literature methodology, findings, discussion, and conclusion sections; this should include figures and tables)

* All accepted papers and abstracts will have the opportunity to be invited to the poster presentation session. Authors are encouraged to prepare their work in a printable poster format (size: A0) in advance.

• Review Process

Each submission will undergo a two-stage review:

· External peer review by at least two independent experts (double-anonymized)

· Final decision by the ISC Technical Committee

• Review Criteria

· Full-length papers: novelty, scientific rigor, technical depth, maturity/applicability, significance, etc.

· Industry abstracts: engineering innovation, practical value, data quality, etc.

• Acceptance Categories

*Journal Recommendation:
Papers recommended for journal publication will be clearly indicated in the acceptance notification. These papers will then enter the journals' independent peer review process. Final journal acceptance decisions are expected within 2–3 months after the conference.

• Conference Proceedings
  

All accepted papers and abstracts (Oral, Poster, and Journal-recommended) will be compiled into the conference proceedings and made available for download on the conference website.

• Journal Publication

• Conditions for Publication

· At least one author must register and present at the conference

· The paper must pass the journal's independent peer review process

· The conference recommendation serves as a "fast-track" qualification but does not replace journal peer review

• Publication Fee & Discount

· Authors whose papers are finally accepted for journal publication will receive a 15% discount on the journal page charges

· All authors invited to present at the conference (Oral or Poster) will receive a 20% discount on the conference registration fee

To encourage high-quality research and engineering practice, the ISC 2027 Committee offers Travel Grants for authors invited to present at the conference (oral or poster).

• Eligibility

· The applicant must be the first author/corresponding author of an accepted paper

· The applicant must be a PhD student or early-career researcher (within 5 years of PhD)

· Priority will be given to international applicants (from outside China )

• Travel Grants Coverage

· International travel subsidy: up to CNY 5,000 per recipient (applicable to international participants only)

· Certificate of Scholarship Award

• Application Process

· Complete the Travel Grants Application Form (see Appendix, also available for download on the conference website)

· Send the completed form to lidong@sae-china.org via email no later than January 15, 2027 (the same as the paper submission deadline)

• Notification

· Travel Grants will be announced together with the paper acceptance notification on March 16, 2027

• Selection Criteria

· Scholarships will be awarded by the Technical Committee based on:

        - Paper quality and technical contribution (70%)

        - Applicant's academic profile (30%)
