China SAE and FISITA are delighted to confirm that the FISITA Intelligent Safety Conference China 2027 will take place on May 7th-9th, 2027, in Changchun, Jilin, China, with physical or online participation available to participants.

The FISITA Intelligent Safety Conference was established in 2019 as a collaboration between FISITA and China SAE. The conference brings together global technical leaders, engineers, and academics to discuss the latest innovative methods, technologies, and solutions in the field of intelligent driving safety.

The conference features a high-quality line-up of international speakers delivering keynotes and thought leadership on critical intelligent safety strategy and technology topics. FISITA Intelligent Safety Conference 2027 will see an international speaker line up considering some of the most important topics within the safety of future mobility arena, including SOTIF, Cybersecurity, Human Factors, and Intelligent Safety Protection, etc.

The ISC Committee invites you to submit a full-length paper or an extended abstract for ISC 2027, to take place on May 7th-9th.

• Prospective authors are requested to submit

· a full paper (no less than 5000 words or 10 pages)  

· an extended abstract (1500 to 2000 words including key references)

· Main Body Text (including a concise review of extent literature methodology, findings, discussion, and conclusion sections; this should include figures and tables)

• Review Process

Each submission will undergo a two-stage review:

· External peer review by at least two independent experts (double-anonymized)

· Final decision by the ISC Technical Committee

• Review Criteria

· Full-length papers: novelty, scientific rigor, technical depth, maturity/applicability, significance, etc.

· Industry abstracts: engineering innovation, practical value, data quality, etc.

• Acceptance Categories

*Journal Recommendation:
Papers recommended for journal publication will be clearly indicated in the acceptance notification. These papers will then enter the journals' independent peer review process. Final journal acceptance decisions are expected within 2–3 months after the conference.

• Conference Proceedings
  

All accepted papers and abstracts (Oral, Poster, and Journal-recommended) will be compiled into the conference proceedings and made available for download on the conference website.

• Conditions for Publication

· At least one author must register and present at the conference

·The paper must pass the journal's independent peer review process

The conference recommendation serves as a "fast-track" qualification but does not replace journal peer review

• Publication Fee & Discount

· Authors whose papers are finally accepted for journal publication will receive a 15% discount on the journal      page charges

· All authors invited to present at the conference (Oral or Poster) will receive a 20% discount on the      conference registration fee

To encourage high-quality research and engineering practice, the ISC 2027 Committee offers scholarship awards for authors invited to present at the conference (oral or poster).

• Eligibility

· The applicant must be the first author/corresponding author of an accepted paper

· The applicant must be a PhD student or early-career researcher (within 5 years of PhD)

· Priority will be given to international applicants (from outside China)

• Scholarship Coverage

· International travel subsidy: up to CNY 5,000 per recipient (applicable to international participants only)

• Application Process

· After receiving the acceptance notification, please complete the Scholarship Application Form (see Appendix, also available for download on the conference website)

· Send the completed form to lidong@sae-china.org within 5 working days

• Selection Criteria

· Scholarships will be awarded by the Technical Committee based on:

        - Paper quality and technical contribution (70%)

        - Applicant's academic profile (30%)
