As the global business landscape evolves, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting has become a cornerstone of corporate responsibility and long-term success. How organizations address sustainability, social impact, and ethical governance has emerged as a focal point for stakeholders.
Meanwhile, rapid technological advancements, regulatory changes, and shifting market expectations are reshaping corporate operations and reporting practices. With both the EU and China transitioning toward green and low-carbon economies, new regulations and mechanisms effect decision making. Green policies apply not only to companies headquartered or operating in Europe, but also significantly impact Chinese enterprises engaged in EU trade.
In collaboration with Rödl & Partner, TÜV SÜD, and Bravowhale Technology, the German Chamber of Commerce in China · South & Southwest is organizing this Seminar, focusing on Exporting to the EU: Reducing Carbon Footprints, and discuss with you on new regulatory and how to comply with the increasing regulatory requirements, how organizations can effectively meet evolving ESG reporting standards while preparing for a sustainable future.

由此，中国德国商会 · 华南及西南地区将携手罗德律师事务所、TÜV南德意志集团、祺鲲科技，举办本次研讨会，聚焦出口欧盟：减少碳足迹，与您讨论新机制以及在该机制下应如何遵守日益增长的监管要求，组织应如何有效地满足不断变化的 ESG 报告标准，为可持续的未来做好准备，共谋可持续发展。

Cynthia designs compliance strategies to align businesses with international standards while mitigating operational and reputational risks. Her expertise empowers organizations to strengthen ethical supply chains and implement ESG practices tailored to global and regional mandates.

As an important bridge for Sino-German exchanges, the German Chamber launched ESG Alliance in 2022 and has been organizing a variety of ESG activities for German companies in China to showcase their ESG performance and commitments and to connect with valuable partners. In the future, the German Chamber will continue to work together with its members and partners to actively promote the ESG practice and enhance exchanges and cooperation between China and Germany.
