Shanghai government released the Administrative Measures on Carbon Emission, which will take effect on April 1, 2025, to improve local emission quota management, voluntary greenhouse gas reduction, and carbon trading systems. The measures strengthen corporate carbon emission quality control and annual reporting obligations while establishing and improving the carbon inclusion mechanism.
