About Carnival Party 关于科隆狂欢节:

The carnival has a long history since the Middle Ages and has been a popular festival among many European and American countries, among which the Cologne Carnival is the largest one in Germany and the second largest in the world after the Brazilian Carnival, attracting millions of people joining every year. 

During the Carnival, people dress up in fancy costumes, parade, dance and drink a lot.

狂欢节通常是基督教四旬斋前宴饮和狂欢的节日，起源于中世纪，盛行于欧美。

德国科隆狂欢节是继巴西里约热内卢狂欢节后全球第二大狂欢节庆活动，每年吸引上百万民众盛装参与！节日期间，人们奇装异服、上街游行、跳舞、喝酒狂欢。

从前，人们为将冬季恶灵驱逐出城，便头戴面具上街游行，这一惯例被保留下来，便有了后来的化装游行和化装舞会。如今，狂欢节成为人们抒发对幸福和自由向往的重要节日。人们把真实的自我隐藏在怪异的服装或面具下，打破束缚，肆意狂欢，释放自我。

1. This is a pre-paid event. Please complete registration and payment online in advance. No-shows will be charged with the full price. Cancellations and refunds need to be requested at least 48 hours before the start of the event. Applications after that will not be approved.
