Day Tour 1    

Visit the Olympic Sailing Center, located in Yan’er Island, this is where the sailing contests of 2008 29th Olympic Games and 12th Paralympic Games are to be held.    


   

Day Tour 2    

Visit the Badaguan, more than 300 buildings of different styles from scores of countries such as Germany, Russia, US, Britain, France, Denmark, Greece, Spain, Switzerland and Japan are scattering about Badaguan and make this scenic area praised as the “World Architecture Museum”.     


   

Day Tour 3    

Visit May 4th Square, as the landmark architecture of Qingdao, the Square was named to honor the May 4th Movement arising from the sovereignty problem of Qingdao. It was built in 1996 with a floor area of 100,000 m2.

2、May Fourth Square & Olympic Sailing Center

  a) May Fourth Square: The picture below shows a famous statue in May Fourth Square, named “Wind in May”, in memory of the “May Fourth Movement” in Chinese history.

3、The Eight Passes

There are more than 200 villas around the sight of “Eight Passes”, with a unique design and appearance for each one. Every villa has a separate garden court. Most buildings have 2 or 3 floors, from where you can see the beach. These buildings represent different styles of architecture from 24 countries, therefore The Eight Passes is called “Museum of Architecture”.

4、Golden Sand Beach

The Golden Sand Beach is not far from the location of our conference.

5、Laoshan Mountain

Laoshan Mountain is the No.1 Mountain over sea in China. 

The picture below shows the cloud and mist around mountains.

6、Shilaoren Beach

At the center of the picture below, there is a natural statue, looking like an old father waiting for his children going home after fishing. In Chinese, “Shilaoren” means an old man made of rock.

7、Trestle Bridge

Trestle Bridge was the first artificial wharf for military use, but now it is a famous sight and landmark. The bridge is of 440 m in length and 8 m in width, made of reinforced concrete. There is a two-floor building at the end of the bridge, called “Huilan Ge”, named after the waves from the sea. This is one of the top 10 sights in Tsingtao.

8.Beer Festival 

Many different types of beer can be found at the Beer Festival.
