Together with the Consulate General of Germany in Guangzhou and DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), the German Chamber will have the traditional German event - Stammtisch in Guangzhou bi-monthly as a regular after-work gathering for the Sino-German community: Chamber members, alumni who studied in Germany, Germans, and friends of German language and culture!
Mark your calendar for November 5 in Guangzhou! Come enjoy a relaxing after-work evening with authentic German cuisine, drinks, and plenty of networking opportunities!

What is “Stammtisch”?
A Stammtisch (German for "regulars' table", [ˈʃtamtɪʃ]) is an informal group meeting held on a regular basis, usually on a large, often round table around which the group meets.
It is not a structured meeting, but rather a friendly get-together. Traditionally, the meeting table is marked with a somewhat elaborate sign reserving it for regulars.
