Conference Overview:

By gathering professionals, educators, stakeholders who share a common interest in international education area and pursuing to elevate the quality of the school and student.Through our pre-conference workshop, keynote speeches, and parallel sessions with professional, participants would have a chance to learn innovative teaching methods and tools, teachers can create more engaging and effective learning environments, ultimately fostering better communication and understanding with their students.

 

We are expecting this conference to:

·Provide a platform for educators to discuss the latest research findings, best practices, innovations, and challenges.

    Director of Professional Learning International and certified Independent Concept-Based Consultant, workshop facilitator, trainer, and author, Rachel French, MA Ed. has led innovative curriculum design and transformed how educators teach and students learn for over 12 years. Mentored by the founders of Concept-Based Curriculum themselves, Dr. H Lynn Erickson and Dr. Lois A. Lanning, Rachel was entrusted with the exclusive worldwide rights to be the sole provider of the Erickson and Lanning Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction (CBCI) Trainer Certification Institute — the certification that kick-started her journey into Concept-Based Inquiry.
    Rachel French, Dr. Lynn Erickson, and Dr. Lois Lanning have co-authored the second edition of ‘Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction for the Thinking Classroom,’ 2017, and Carla Marschall and Rachel French co-authored ‘Concept-Based Inquiry in Action’ (2018).
    Rachel has presented numerous workshops and conferences on Concept-Based Learning globally and now hosts the annual Concept-Based Inquiry Learning Labs Conference. This conference is dedicated to bringing together passionate CBI educators from around the globe. Rachel’s mission is to help other educators transform their classrooms and schools by accessing leading professional development, planning and implementing Concept-Based Inquiry units, and adopting a Concept-Based curriculum development approach.

    Jessica Humble-Crofts is an experienced international educator, consultant, and coach who works with educators worldwide to develop innovative Concept- Based curricula. As a certified independent Erickson and Lanning Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction Trainer, Jessica has led workshops worldwide, presented at conferences, given keynote speeches, and facilitated a global professional learning community to cultivate

    best practices in Concept-Based Inquiry. She is one of the lead curriculum developers of The CBI Mathematics Project and has been involved in development, implementation, professional development and support of the project. Jessica is the science specialist for the CBCI Institute and has successfully developed and led professional development courses for Professional Learning International. Leaning on her extensive classroom experience in both middle and high school Jessica is passionate about designing transformative learning experiences in the science classroom.

She is a committed change champion for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (I-DEA) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). As an empathetic leader, Carly connects strongly with students, colleagues and parents, and continues exploring new avenues for growth. Trained in Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools, she holds a Certificate of International School Leadership from the Principal’s Training Centre, a Bachelor's in Religious Studies, and a Postgraduate primary school education certificate. As a mother of two primary school children, she balances work and home with creativity, agency and laughter.

He specialises in school leadership, strategy and evaluation, having served as Principal of a large IB World Through-School for a prominent group of international schools and in a variety of other senior roles in education.

    Justin Zhang, Ph.D., is a dedicated educator and educational leader specializing in educational technology and pedagogy. Currently serving as Assistant Professor and Director of IBEC at Namseoul University, he brings extensive expertise from his previous role as Head of Chinese at an international school in Hong Kong. With a Ph.D. in Educational Technology (Cum Laude) and dual Master's degrees in Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching, Dr. Zhang is a registered teacher in both the US and UK who fulfills multiple roles within the International Baccalaureate Educator Network and examines for international curricula including IB, IGCSE, and A-levels. His international teaching experience spans Spain, Hong Kong, and South Korea, complemented by his contributions to educational advancement through school accreditation committees and academic publications.
