Jeremy Douglas
Jeremy Douglas is the Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for Southeast Asia and the Pacific overseeing and managing operations and strategy from Myanmar to the Pacific in the areas of the rule of law, non-traditional security threats, law enforcement, criminal justice and drug-related supply and health issues. He is also the UNODC liaison to China, Korea, Japan and Mongolia and to regional organisations including the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS).

He is a professor of National Drug &Alcohol Research Centre, University of New South Wales. His main research areas are drug and alcohol-related research. His main research interests are opioid dependence management, psychostimulant replacement therapy, juvenile drug dependence treatment, and psychostimulant and opioid's effects on cognitive function, and other clinical trials. He has published more than 100 articles and books on topics such as assessment, characterization, and treatment of issues such as emotion, cognition, psychology, and neuropsychology. He is the editor of the Cochrane Drug and Alcohol Evaluation Group, assistant editor of the International Journal “Addiction”, and executive editor of “Drug and Alcohol Review”.
