Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor, first-level chief physician, deputy director of Mental Health Institute of the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, vice chairman of the United Nations International Narcotics Control Board, chairman of the assessment committee, member of the WHO Advisory Committee on Drug and Alcohol Experts, director of WHO Addictive Behavior and Health Cooperation Centre, President of Chinese Association of Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment. He has presided over many domestic and international projects, such as the Science and Technology Support Program for “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” and “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, the 973 Program, and the key projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China. In the study of drugs, alcohol abuse epidemiology, clinical detoxification of traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation after detoxification, and biological mechanism of addiction, he has an important impact at home and abroad. At present, he has published more than 300 papers, including more than 60 SCI papers. He has published nearly 30 books as chief editor and editor. The 4th to 8th edition of the national textbook "Psychiatry" with him as chief editor has been sold for more than 2 million copies. In 2014, he won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and the second prize of China Medical Science and Technology Progress Award. He has long been engaged in clinical, teaching and research work on drug and alcohol addiction, neurosis, psychotherapy.

Ph.D., Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Mental Health Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, member of the Expert Group of Scientists Federation of the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime, Vice Chairman of the China Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment Expert Committee, Vice President of Chinese Association of Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment. She has presided over more than 20 projects including Ministry of Science and Technology's major research and development plans, the Science and Technology Support Program of the “11th Five-Year Plan”, the National Natural Science Foundation (regional joint fund key projects and 3 projects), WHO projects, and the US NIH projects. She also participated (the one and only Chinese expert) the revision of the ICD-11 mental and behavioral disorders diagnostic criteria organized by the World Health Organization (WHO). She has published more than 200 related papers (more than 60 papers on SCI magazines), edited 6 monographs as chief editor, and edited more than 40 monographs as editor. She is the editor of the magazine "Addiction", and won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. She has won the "US NIH/NIDA International Cooperation Outstanding Scientist Award", "Meiji Life Science Award", "Wuzhou Women's Science and Technology Award", "Shanghai Wuyi Women's Award", "Shanghai Top Ten Public Health Workers", "The 11th Shanghai Health System Silver Snake Award”, “Shanghai Jiaotong University President Award” and many other domestic and international awards and training programs. She has long been engaged in psychiatric clinical, teaching and research work, focusing on anxiety, depression, addictive behavior and psychological behavior intervention.
